    Night/Weekend Work

    There is night and weekend work scheduled at the 22nd Street Bridge location starting on the night of Friday, July 15 through the morning of Saturday, July 16. Crews will be setting the temporary utility support bridge at the bridge location.

    There is night and weekend work scheduled at the Paul Avenue Bridge location starting on the night of Friday, July 15 through the morning of Saturday, July 16. Crews will be installing utility supports on the new bridge structure.


    Weekday Work

    In general, all weekday construction activity will occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Neighbors may experience construction noise during this time.


    22nd Street Bridge

    Monday, July 18, to Friday, July 22, crews will assemble the temporary utility support structure. There will be third party utility companies on site performing utility work.

    A temporary pedestrian bridge will be installed next week to maintain limited pedestrian access across 22nd Street. After the installation of the temporary pedestrian bridge, pedestrian traffic will be switched from the northern sidewalk to the temporary pedestrian bridge for the duration of the 22nd Street Bridge replacement. The temporary pedestrian bridge is intended for use by Caltrain customers accessing the 22nd Street Caltrain Station.


    Paul Avenue Bridge

    Monday, July 18, to Friday, July 22, crews will remove the temporary utility support in preparation for the permanent utility installation.

    Vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian access to Paul Avenue between Gould and Carr streets will remain closed during the removal and replacement of the Paul Avenue Bridge. Access to Paul Avenue is expected to be fully restored in August 2016. The exact date of the closure is subject to change. During the closure, Caltrain will establish detour signs for pedestrians and motorists to help with traffic flow.


    22nd Street Closure

    The closure of 22nd Street between Iowa Street and Pennsylvania began on Tuesday, April 19. During the closure, vehicular access to 22nd Street between Iowa Street and Pennsylvania Avenue will remain closed during the removal and replacement of the bridge, which is expected to be complete in November 2016. Detour signage will be in place to direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic during the closure.

    A temporary pedestrian bridge will be installed in late July to maintain limited pedestrian access across 22nd Street. The temporary pedestrian bridge is intended for use by Caltrain customers accessing the 22nd Street Caltrain Station. Pedestrian access is still maintained on the north side of the bridge until the temporary pedestrian bridge is installed.


     

    Night/Weekend Work

    There is night no night or weekend work scheduled for the Quint Street Project.


    Weekday Work

    Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22, crews will continue hydro-seeding at the project site.

    Closure of Quint Street between Newcomb and Jerrold Avenues began on October 5, 2015. During the closure, Caltrain has established traffic rerouting signs for pedestrians and motorists to help with traffic flow.
