Service 147e will start to provide the service on Sunday, 28 January 2018.
As a Fast Forward service, service 147e will make the travelling time between Clementi and Clarke Quay shorter.
The service will travel on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and serve several MRT stations enroute – Clementi, Dover, Buona Vista, Commonwealth, Outram Park, Chinatown and Clarke Quay.
It originates from the Clementi Bus Interchange, follow the regular route of its parent service 147, until it reaches Queensway. After that, it will travel on an express route, to arrive at Eu Tong Sen Street at the bus stop outside Outram Park Station before terminating at the stop outside Clarke Quay Station.
Its frequency is 20 minutes during weekday peak hours from the Clementi Interchange.
During weekday off-peak hours as well as on weekends and public holidays, it will be 30 minutes.
