Service Improvements Begin September 16!
Big Blue Bus will adjust its service on September 16, 2018, to better connect you with places you work, live, and play. Preview the changes below:
ROUTE 1 Main St & Santa Monica Blvd
Discontinued Stop:
- NB Westwood Blvd. at Lindbrook Dr.
ROUTE 2 Wilshire Blvd
Minor Route and Schedule Changes:
- Due to Metro Rail Construction, current detour on Veteran Ave. and Kinross Ave. becomes permanent route on weeknights and weekends.
- Minor schedule adjustments on weekends to help keep buses on time.
New Stops!
- NB Veteran Ave. at Kinross Ave.
- NB Westwood Blvd. at Kinross Ave.
- SB Westwood Blvd. at Kinross Ave.
- EB Wilshire Blvd. at Bundy Dr. (across the intersection)
- WB Wilshire Blvd. at Veteran Ave. (across the intersection)
- WB Wilshire Blvd. at Bundy Dr. (across the intersection)
RAPID 3 Lincoln Blvd Rapid
Schedule Changes:
Weekday:
- Service adjusted to every 10 minutes between 7am and 8am.
- Significant schedule adjustments to help keep buses on time.
ROUTE 5 Olympic Blvd
Schedule Changes:
Weekday:
- Eastbound trips at 5:55am, 8:20pm, and 8:50pm discontinued.
- Westbound trips at 5:52am, 6:17am, 7:55pm, 8:25pm, and 8:55pm discontinued.
Weekend:
- Eastbound trips at 6:00am, 6:40am, 7:20am, 8:00pm, and 8:40pm discontinued.
- Westbound trips at 6:33am, 7:13am, 7:53am, 8:38pm, and 9:18pm discontinued.
ROUTE 7 Pico Blvd
Schedule Changes:
- New eastbound weekday trip added at 3:15pm.
ROUTE 8 Ocean Park Blvd
Schedule Changes:
Weekday:
- Eastbound morning service improved to better match rider demand.
- Minor schedule adjustments to help keep buses on time.
Discontinued Stop:
- NB Westwood Blvd. at Lindbrook Dr.
ROUTE 9 Pacific Palisades
Schedule Changes:
Weekday:
- Eastbound morning service improved to better match rider demand.
- Minor schedule adjustments to help keep buses on time.
RAPID 10 Downtown LA Freeway Express
Schedule Changes:
Eastbound:
- Various trips discontinued; service now ends at 6:20pm.
- Service adjusted to every 30 minutes between 2pm and 4:45pm.
Westbound:
- Various trips discontinued; service now ends at 8:15pm.
- Service adjusted to every 40-50 minutes between 6:35am and 10:35am.
RAPID 12 UCLA/Westwood to Expo Rapid
Schedule Changes:
- Weekday service improved to better match rider demand.
- Weekend trips between noon and 6pm adjusted to every 22 minutes.
- Minor schedule adjustments on all days to help keep buses on time.
