    Here’s how to get around with Muni this Sunday (May 21st):

    Muni Service Details

    • Race route closures include Howard Street, 9th Street, Hayes Street, Fell Street and John F. Kennedy Drive for approximately four hours.
    • Affected Muni lines: F, N, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 14R, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 38, 43, 44, 45, 47, 49; Sunday morning bus service on K, M, N and T lines through the areas of Downtown, Civic Center, Hayes Valley, Panhandle, and Golden Gate Park during the race.
    • Affected city areas: Downtown, Civic Center, Hayes Valley, Panhandle, Golden Gate Park.
    • Pre-race service hours: 6 to 8 a.m., post-race hours: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • Pre-race bus service will be provided from 47th Avenue and Fulton Street and Judah and La Playa streets.
    • Pre-race Muni Metro service will be provided from West Portal, Castro, Church and Van Ness stations to Embarcadero Station.
    • Pre-race N Judah service will be provided from Judah Street and 19th Avenue.
    • Post-race 5 Fulton express bus service will be provided from 47th Avenue and Fulton Street. These buses will travel express to Sansome and Sutter streets.
    • Post-race 5 Fulton bus service will be provided from Fulton Street and 47th Avenue and will operate on regular stops to Beale and Mission streets.
    • Post-race N Judah express bus service will be provided from Judah and La Playa streets to Sansome and Sutter streets, make regular stops until 19th Avenue and express to Sansome and Sutter streets.
    • The 28 19th Avenue Route will have supplemental service running between 19th and Holloway avenues and California Street.
    • The 29 Sunset Route will have service running between Lower Great Highway (at Judah Street) and Daly City BART Station.

    Note:

    • Streets will be re-opened once the runners have passed and the streets have been cleaned.
    • Large crowds are expected. Participants and spectators should plan for additional return travel time.

    Regional Transit Options

    • BART will open at 6 a.m.
    • Caltrain will offer four extra pre-race trains to San Francisco and three express trains after the race to San Jose.
    • Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry has added early morning ferry service to Bay to Breakers.
