Closures associated with the Bath Carnival will be in place on Saturday 16th July from 14:30 to 17:30.
Whilst the closures are in place the following arrangements will apply:
- Service 6 heading toward Bath Bus Station diverted via Pulteney Road, North Parade and Pierrepont Street
- Service 6 heading toward Fairfield Park diverted via Broad Quay, Ambury, Corn Street, St James Parade, James Street West, Charles Street, Chapel Row, Queen Square, Gay Street and George Street resuming normal route from Lansdown Road
- Service 7 heading toward Bath Bus Station from Lansdown Road diverted via George Street, Gay Street, Queen Square, Chapel Row, Charles Street, James Street West and St James Parade
- Service 7 heading toward Fairfield park diverted from Pierrepont Street via North Parade and Pulteney Road
- Services 4, 13, 265, 271, 272, U1 heading toward Bath Bus Station diverted via Pulteney Road, North Parade and Pierrepont Street
- Services 4, 13, 265, 271, 272, U1 departing from Bath Bus Station area diverted from Pierrepont Street via North Parade and Pulteney Street
- Service 31 will divert from Lansdown Road via George Street, Gay Street, Queen Square returning to Lansdown Road via Gay Street and George Street.
- Service 31 will use this route throughout Saturday 16th July
Note: On Saturday 16th July there is also a closure of James Street West between Stanhope Place and Charles Street. Combined, this may affect journey times during the afternoon. It is therefore advisable, if possible, to allow additional time for your journeys.
