Primarily there will be changes to:
Single tickets – the price of on-bus fares in all area will increase except where a flat fare system operates (Weston-super-Mare and Bath)
Week tickets – the on-bus price of week tickets will increase in some areas but this price will remain the same on mTicket and Touch card
10 journey tickets – the price of 10 journey tickets will be increasing in some areas, although there will be a finanical incentive to buy this ticket on mTicket or Touch card (available in Bristol and Bath).
Family day tickets – the price of this ticket will remain the same, but up to 5 people of any age can travel on this ticket after 9.30am (Monday to Friday), all day Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. This new Group Ticket will be available to buy on-bus or the mTickets app.
Night tickets – all areas in the West of England will have a night ticket available. Adults, students and 16-21 year olds will also be able to buy a pack of 5 night tickets in the mTickets app.
New Outer Zone fare for Weston-super-Mare – covering 12 miles from the centre of Weston-super-Mare this new fare boundary will cover Cheddar, Nailsea, Backwell and Burham-on-Sea.
