MetroLink passengers are encouraged to allow extra time for their commutes next week as maintenance work on the MetroLink system may result in delays for some passengers.
To accommodate work crews, Red Line MetroLink service will end at the College MetroLink Station and a Shuttle Train will transport passengers to and from the Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Station during the evenings of July 25 through July 29. Additionally, MetroLink will operate on a single track between the College and Shiloh-Scott Stations during the early mornings from July 26 through July 29.
In downtown St. Louis, MetroLink will operate on a single track between the Stadium and Laclede’s Landing MetroLink Stations all day on July 30 and during the morning on July 31, and Blue Line trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Forest Park-DeBaliviere Stations that weekend.
On Monday through Friday (July 25-29) from 8 p.m. until end of service, regular Red LineMetroLink service will end at the College Station. Passengers who normally park at the Shiloh-Scott Station are encouraged to park at the College Station to avoid delays after 8 p.m.
- Eastbound passengers traveling to the Shiloh-Scott Station will need to get off the Red Line MetroLink train at College Station and board a Shuttle Train to continue their trip to the Shiloh-Scott Station. Eastbound riders traveling from College Station to the Shiloh-Scott Station may experience delays of 5 to 10 minutes.
- Westbound passengers at the Shiloh-Scott Station will need to board a Shuttle Train and ride to College Station to transfer to a westbound Red Line Westbound riders traveling from Shiloh-Scott Station to the College Station may experience delays of 20 to 25 minutes.
- Blue Line MetroLink service will not be impacted.
On Tuesday through Friday (July 26-29) from the beginning of service until 5:30 a.m.,MetroLink will operate on a single track between the College and Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Stations.
- Red Line MetroLink trains will be operating between the College and Shiloh-Scott Stations, but Red Line passengers may experience delays of 5 to 10 minutes.
- Blue Line MetroLink service will not be impacted.
On Saturday (July 30) from the beginning of service to the end of service, and Sunday (July 31) from the beginning of service until noon, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Stadium, 8th & Pine, Convention Center and Laclede’s Landing Stations, and Blue Line trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Forest Park-DeBaliviere Stations..
- Passengers traveling in both directions will need to board the train on the easbound platform at the Stadium, 8th & Pine, Convention Center and Laclede’s Landing Stations.
- Westbound Blue Line passengers will need to board a Red Line train between the Fairview Heights and Central West End MetroLink Stations and travel to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station to connect with a westbound Blue Line
- Eastbound Blue Line passengers will need to board a Red Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to continue their eastbound trips.
- Passengers should allow 10 minutes when transferring between Red Line and Blue Line
- Red Line passengers may experience delays of 10 to 15 minutes.
