St Patrick's Day Parade

March 15, 2016

All around the globe people are dusting off their green t-shirts and top hats, preparing for the St Patrick’s Day celebrations.

The annual St Patrick’s Day Festival parade in New York is one of the busiest events of the year. With these crowds and road closures, also come inevitable transit changes.

Don’t let these transit changes make your journey go arseways (Irish for “wrong”), Moovit has already updated the lines on the app so that you can be sure to enjoy the day.

Where is the New York St Patrick’s Day Parade?

The Parade starts today at 11am at 44th Street, marching up Fifth Avenue—past St Patrick’s Cathedral at 50th Street—all the way to 79th Street. It finishes around 4:30-5:00pm at the American Irish Historical Society at East 80th Street.

Don’t leave your friends green with envy, share Moovit with them so they can work out the best route for them (and meet you on time!)
