Fitchburg Line
- Shuttle UPCOMINGOn weekdays, March 2-April 30, buses will replace all Fitchburg Line trains between Littleton/495 & Alewife for a connection with the Red Line while we upgrade the signal system for Positive Train Control (PTC). A dedicated bus schedule will be in effect. MBTA.com/FBGworkThere will be no service at Silver Hill, Hastings, Porter Square or North Station.
Porter Square passengers may connect to the Red Line for travel to or from Boston.
Shuttle buses are free and accessible but bikes will not be allowed on board buses.There will be 2 bus options:

-one service making all local stops between Alewife and Littleton
Please note that additional weekdays may be added to the bus diversion as work progresses on the Fitchburg Line.

MVRTA network connects Haverhill to Newburyport. From Haverhill Station, board Bus #01 or #16 to Washington Square Transit Center (or walk for 0.3 miles) and board Bus #51 to Nicholas J. Costello Transportation Center, Amesbury. From there, connection to Bus #54 for Newburyport Station.MVRTA also provides service to Lowell:

LRTA Bus #13 (Billerica via Edson) provides service to North Billerica and then connects to MBTA BUS #350 at Burlington for a connection to the Red Line at Alewife.
LRTA also provides a shuttle bus pilot that departs Gallagher Terminal at 6:30 am on Saturdays and connects with MBTA Bus #350 at Burlington for service to Alewife
LRTA Bus #12 (Tewksbury via Route 38) provides service to Wilmington.-Alternative travel option to or from Anderson/Woburn Station:
