Service changes during Sukkot and Simchat Tora

    Dear riders,

    We have collected several public transit changes that will take place during Sukkot and Simchat Tora.

    🚍 Bus service changes 

    • On Sukkot eve (September 20) and Simchat Torah (September 27), buses will operate on a Friday schedule
    • On Sukkot (September 21) and Simchat Torah (September 28) buses will operate on Saturday schedule

    πŸš† Israel Railways service changes during Sukkot

    Sukkot Eve (September 20)

    On Sukkot eve, Monday, September 20, trains will operate on an increased format in the following lines only:

    • Beer Sheva – Herzliya
    • Beit Shemesh – Tel Aviv Savidor Center
    • Beit Shean – Haifa Hof Hacarmel
    • Carmiel – Haifa Hof Hacarmel
    • Dimona – Beer Sheva North University

    In addition, trains will operate between Nahariya – Haifa – Tel Aviv – Ben Gurion Airport stations via Acre, Kiryat Motzkin, Kiryat Haim, Hutsot Hamifratz, Merkazit Hamifratz, Haifa Merkaz Hashmona, Haifa Bat Galim, Haifa Hof Hacarmel, Atlit, Binyamina, Caesarea Pardes Hanna, Hadera West, Netanya, Netanya Sapir, Beit Yehoshua, Herzliya, and all Tel Aviv stations.

    > The train departing at 05:39 in the morning from Haifa Merkaz Hashmona to Ben Gurion Airport, will start from Haifa Merkaz Hashmona (and not at Nahariya station).

    > The trains departing from Ben Gurion Airport station at 12:54 will end their ride at Haifa Merkaz Hashmona station (and not at Nahariya station).

    Sukkot (September 21)

    On Tuesday, September 21, trains will be operating on a Saturday format in the following lines only:

    • Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon – Herzliya
    • Beer Sheva – Herzliya
    • Beit Shemesh – Tel Aviv Savidor Center
    • Beit She’an – Haifa Hof Hacarmel
    • Carmiel – Haifa Hof Hacarmel
    • Nahariya – Haifa Hof Hacarmel

    🚌 On this day, free shuttles will operate between Tel Aviv Savidor Central and Haifa Hof Hacarmel stations, in both directions. The schedules can be found in the ‘Lines’ tab.

    πŸ“ During the week of Sukkot, September 22-26, trains will operate on a regular schedule


    πŸš† Israel Railways service changes during Simchat Tora

    Simchat Torah Eve (September 27)

    On Monday, September 27, trains will be operating on a Friday schedule in the following lines only:

      • Beer Sheva – Herzliya.
      • Beit Shemesh – Tel Aviv Savidor Center.
      • Beit She’an – Haifa Hof Hacarmel.
      • Carmiel – Haifa Hof Hacarmel.
      • Nahariya – Haifa Hof Hacarmel.
      • Dimona – Beer Sheva North University.

    Simchat Torah(September 28)

    On Simchat Torah, Tuesday, September 28, trains will be operating on a Saturday schedule in the following lines only:

    • Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon – Herzliya
    • Beer Sheva – Herzliya
    • Beit Shemesh – Tel Aviv Savidor Center
    • Beit She’an – Haifa Hof Hacarmel
    • Carmiel – Haifa Hof Hacarmel
    • Nahariya – Haifa Hof Hacarmel

    🚌 During Simchat Torah Eve and Simchat Torah, free shuttles will operate between Tel Aviv Savidor Central and Haifa Hof Hacarmel stations, in both directions. The schedules can be found in the ‘Lines’ tab.

    πŸ“ On Wednesday, September 29, trains will operate according to a Sunday schedule


    We remind you, that in accordance with the Ministries of Health and Transportation guidelines, it is mandatory to wear a face mask on every ride and not use any public transportation line if having illness symptoms.
