We have collected several public transit changes that are worth getting to know about this weekend.
π Israel Railway
Railway Service Transition to Daylight Saving Time
As every year, with the start of daylight saving time, train service hours on Fridays and Saturday nights will be adjusted.
On Fridays, train operations will conclude by approximately 17:00, including routes to Ben Gurion Airport. On Saturday nights, service will resume at around 22:00.
Israel Railways notes that in stations currently undergoing electrification work (Karmiel, Ahihud, Be’er Sheva, Sderot, Netivot, and Ofakim), aimed at enhancing service with modern, high-speed electric trains, train service on Fridays will end earlier, at approximately 13:00, until the electrification process in these areas is completed.

Starting this Friday, March 28, the Red Line of the Gush Dan Light Rail will switch to daylight saving time on weekends! ππ

Service will begin at 20:30 from all terminal stations.

Starting Friday, March 27, 2025, Naim B’Sofash service hours will be adjusted for daylight saving time, and some lines will be enhanced.
Updated Service Hours for Lines 705, 706, 707, 708, 709, 710, and 717:
β° Friday: Service will begin at 16:30 instead of 15:30.
β° Saturday: Service will end at 18:30 instead of 17:30.
Updated Summer Schedule for Line 712 (Tel Aviv – Modiβin):
β° Friday Departures: 18:30, 20:30, 22:30, 00:30. Additional last trip to Modiβin only: 02:00
β° Saturday Departures: 10:00, 12:00, 14:30, 17:00. Additional last trip to Tel Aviv only: 18:30
Note: Towards the end of service on Saturday, schedule changes and route deviations may occur due to police preparations and road closures for demonstrations at Kaplan and Habima.
