    Update for 7th – 13th January

    Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip on Moovit to work out any extra travel time you need and alternative routes.

     

    A new high frequency station link bus service is now operating station to station between Epping and Chatswood to replace train services while the Epping to Chatswood line is closed for Sydney Metro Northwest upgrade works.

    City Circle 


    From Monday 7th to Thursday 10th January, from 9.50pm until 1am, trains will only run in one directions from Central first stop museum. Check before you travel as some trains will run to a changed timetable, depart from different platforms and you may need to change trains at Central to complete your journey.

    T1 Western & Richmond Line


    On Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th January, some trains running between Richmond or Quakers Hill and Lidcombe, will then continue to Olympic Park.

     

    T2 Inner West & Leppington Line


    On Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th January, buses replace trains between Cambratta and Granville. Click here for a map of bus replacement services. Leppington trains will run to a changed timetable between Leppington and the City via Regents Park. 

    From 9.30pm Saturday until 7.30am Sunday, Leppington trains run to a changed timetable via Bankstown.

    From Monday 7th to Thursday 10th January, some trains to the City end at Central. You may need to change trains at Central to complete your journey. Trains to T2 Inner West & Leppington Line stations continue to run from all City Circle stations. City Circle trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum

     

    T3 Bankstown Line


    From Monday 7th to Thursday 10th January, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum. Some trains run to a changed timetable and depart from different platforms. You may need to change trains at Central to complete your journey.

     

    T5 Cumberland Line


    Nightly from 11.50pm until 1am, some trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Granville, and between Granville and Leppington only. You may need to change at Granville to continue your journey.

    On Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th January, buses replace trains between Cambratta and Granville. Click here for a map of bus replacement services.

     

    T7 Olympic Park Line


    Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 January extra trains run between Olympic Park and Lidcombe, then continue to Quakers Hills or Richmond

     

    T8 Airport & South Line


    On Monday 7 to Thursday 10 January, nightly from 9.50pm until 1am, trains from the City start from Central. Trains to the City continue to run to all City Circle stations. City Circle trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum. If you are travelling to the T8 Airport & South Line from City Circle stations, please change trains at Central

    Blue Mountain Line


    On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 January, trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and Blacktown only, some to a changed timetable. Extra T1 Western Line trains run between Blacktown and Central or North Sydney. Trains continue to run between Bathurst and Central.

     

    Central Coast & Newcastle Line


    On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 January, buses replace trains between Wyong and Hornsby. Trains run to a changed timetable between Newcastle Interchange and Wyong, and between Hornsby and Central, or the City Circle

     

    South Coast Line


    On Saturday 12 January, from 8am until 4pm, at Bulli, Woonona, Bellambi and Corrimal, trains travelling towards Wollongong leave from platform 1, not platform 2

    On Sunday 13 January, from 8am until 4pm, at Towradgi, Fairy Meadow and North Wollongong, trains travelling towards Wollongong leave from platform 1.
