London Weekend Travel Changes

    Here is your weekly travel update to help you get around London this week.

     

    🚊 Overground🚊


    On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 February, there will be a reduced service between Gospel Oak and Barking. Trains will run every 15 to 30 minutes all day Saturday and after 13:00 on Sunday, each weekend until further notice. 

     

    On Sunday 17 February, there will be no service between:

    • Camden Road and Shepherd’s Bush / Richmond until 12:00. Rail replacement buses will run between Camden Road and Gunnersbury. Use the District line between Gunnersbury and Richmond. Use local bus routes 220 or 228 between Willesden Junction and Shepherd’s Bush. A reduced service will run between Shepherd’s Bush and Clapham Junction (trains every 20 minutes) and also between Camden Road and Stratford (trains every 15 minutes)
    • Camden Road and Stratford after 22:00. Rail replacement buses will run but are unable to serve Canonbury in both directions and will only serve Highbury & Islington westbound only due to road closures. Use local bus route 30 between Highbury & Islington, Canonbury and Dalston Junction
    • Highbury & Islington and Dalston Junction after 22:00. Rail replacement buses will run northbound only from Dalston Junction to Highbury & Islington, not stopping at Canonbury. Alternatively, use local bus route 30 between Highbury & Islington, Canonbury and Dalston Junction

     

    🚊TfL Rail🚊


    On Saturday 16 February, there will be a reduced service between Paddington and Hayes & Harlington. Trains will run every 30 minutes to stations between Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 4. Trains will not be stopping at Acton Main Line.

     

    🚉DLR🚉


    On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 February, southbound trains to Lewisham will not call on platform 1 at Crossharbour. Customers for Crossharbour should travel to Mudchute and then back to use platform 2 at Crossharbour, which remains open. Alternatively, exit at South Quay or Mudchute and use local bus routes 277 or D8. 

     

    🚃London Trams🚃


    From Saturday 16 until Sunday 24 February, there will be no service between Addiscombe and Birkbeck / Elmers End. Tram replacement buses will run between East Croydon and Birkbeck / Elmers End.

     

     🚌Buses🚌


    Marylebone – Between 19:00 on Friday 15 and 15:00 on Sunday 17 February, Orchard Street will be closed between Wigmore Street and Oxford Street. Bus routes and traffic will be diverted.  

    Highbury Corner – From Friday 15 until Thursday 21 February, Holloway Road will be closed southbound on the approach to Highbury Corner. Traffic will be diverted via Seven Sisters Road, Blackstock Road and St Paul’s. The following southbound bus routes will be on diversion: 43, 263, 271, 393, N41.

    The following docking stations will be out of service this weekend:

    • Rodney Street, Angel
    • Bayswater Road, Hyde Park
    • Upper Richmond Road, East Putney
    • Whiteley’s, Bayswater
    • Appold Street, Liverpool Street
    • Portugal Street, Holborn
    • Princedale Road, Kensington
    • Tate Modern, Bankside
    • Strand
