Trackwork: Tuesday 5 to Sunday 10 January​ 2021

    Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need. 

     

    City Circle

    Monday 4 to Friday 8 January

    • Some trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern.

     

    T1 North Shore Line

    Monday 4 to Sunday 10 January

    • Buses replace all trains between North Sydney and Wynyard.
    • Monday 4 to Friday 8 January, trains run to a weekend timetable with extra trains during the morning and afternoon peak periods.

     

    T1 Western Line

    Monday 4 to Sunday 10 January

    • Trains run to a changed timetable between Emu Plains or Penrith and the City Circle, from Central first stop Museum. If you are travelling to City Circle stations please remain on the train.
    • Monday 4 to Friday 8 January, trains run to a weekend timetable with extra trains during the morning and afternoon peak periods.

     

    T2 Inner West & Leppington Line

    Monday 4 to Friday 8 January

    • Trains run to a weekend timetable.

     

    T3 Bankstown Line

    Monday 4 to Friday 8 January

    • Trains run to a weekend timetable with extra trains during peak periods.

    ​Friday 8 to Sunday 10 January

    • From 10.30pm Friday, buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Bankstown, and between Lidcombe and Sydenham via Bankstown.

     

    T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line

    Friday 8 January

    • From 10.30pm to 2am, some trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.

    Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 January

    • All Cronulla, and some Waterfall trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.

     

    T5 Cumberland Line

    Monday 4 to Friday 8 January

    • Early morning and late night trains between Richmond and Leppington will not run. You may need to change trains at Granville to continue your journey.

     

    T8 Airport & South Line

    Monday 4 to Friday 8 January

    • Trains run to a weekend timetable with extra trains during peak periods.

    ​Sunday 10 January

    • From 8.20am until 3pm, buses replace the all-stations trains between Wolli Creek and Revesby.

     

    T9 Northern Line

    Monday 4 to Sunday 10 January

    • Trains run to a changed timetable between Berowra or Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-12, via Strathfield.
    • Monday 4 to Friday 8 January, trains run to a weekend timetable with extra trains during the morning and afternoon peak periods.

     

    Blue Mountains Line

    Monday 4 to Friday 8 January

    • Trains run to a weekend timetable with extra trains during peak periods.

     

    Central Coast & Newcastle Line

    Monday 4 to Sunday 10 January

    • T1 North Shore Line trains run between Hornsby and North Sydney only. If you are travelling to stations Waitara to North Sydney please change at Hornsby, not Berowra.
    • Monday 4 to Friday 8 January, trains run to a weekend timetable with extra trains during the morning and afternoon peak periods.

     

    Hunter Line

    Monday 4 to Friday 8 January

    • Trains run to a weekend timetable with extra trains during peak periods.

     

    South Coast Line

    Friday 8 to Monday 11 January

    • From 1.50pm Friday until 11.50am Monday, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Kiama.

     

    Southern Highlands Line

    Monday 4 to Friday 8 January

    • Trains run to a weekend timetable with extra trains during peak periods.
