Election Day is right around the corner! Next Tuesday, millions of Americans will head to the polls to cast their votes. We know how important it is to make your voice heard, so Moovit is here to help you get to your polling station without any hassle.

To make voting even more accessible, many transit agencies are offering free rides on Election Day. Here are some of the agencies providing complimentary rides to support voters:
- Cap Metro (Austin) – Providing free bus rides all day on Election Day. Bikeshare customers will need to use the CapMetro Bikeshare App and choose the “I Voted!” pass that will only appear on Election Day. This pass grants a free 60 minute ride (bikes must be re-docked within 60 minutes to avoid overage charges).
- DART (Dallas) – Providing free bus rides all day on Election Day for DART buses, trains, GoLink, the Dallas Streetcar, Paratransit Services & the TRE between EBJ Union Station & CentrePort/DFW Airport Station. You simply need to show your valid voter registration card to ride for free on that day.
- Metro (Houston) – Providing free bus rides all day on Election Day. Simply show your voter ID or other approved documentation to the bus operator or fare inspector.
- Sun Metro (El Paso) – Providing free bus rides all day on Election Day
- CCRTA (Corpus Christi) – Providing free bus rides all day on Election Day for CCRTA Fixed-Routes B-Line Paratransit (ADA) Services Premium Services (Express/Park & Ride) Rural On-Demand Services (Paisano & REAL)
- Trinity Metro (Dallas – Ft. Worth) – Providing free bus rides all day on Election Day
- VIA Metro (San Antonio) – Providing free bus rides all day on Election Day for regular bus service, VIA Link & VIAtrans paratransit service. Need to present a valid voter registration card to the bus or van operator on Election Day.
- Waco Transit (Waco) – Providing free bus rides all day on Election Day for those who present their valid voter registration card or “I Voted” sticker.
Need more options? Uber & Lime are helping Voters get to the polls in areas of operation.
- Uber is offering US riders 50% off rides to their polling place (up to $10) when they use our new ‘Go Vote’ tile to book a ride.
- Lime is helping voters vote early, use code VOTE2024 to get a free ride on a Lime bike or scooter to cast your ballot.
