Opening June 6 at 5PM, the new LAX/Metro Transit Center will connect Metro’s C and K Lines directly to LAX via a free airport shuttle. The station will offer a faster, more convenient way to get to and from the airport—no traffic, no hassle. Metro will also be offering FREE RIDES on the entire system from Friday to Sunday.
What does the LAX/Metro Center have in store for you?
🚀Direct Transport to LAX Terminals
- Free LAX Shuttles – A dedicated shuttle will run every 10 minutes between LX/Metro Transit Center and all LAX Terminals. Shuttles will pick up and drop off at the lower level of each terminal.
- People Mover Connection Coming Soon – IN 2026, the LAWA’s Automated People Move will connect directly to the LAX/Transit Center for even faster access to the terminals.
So many connections! All these lines offer service to and from LAX/Metro Center
🚇Metro Rail Lines
- C Line: LAX/Metro Transit Center is the new final stop for the C Line. C Line now runs between Norwalk and LAX/Metro Center.
- Aviation/LAX Station will now become Aviation/Imperial Station and Long Beach BI Station will be renamed Lynwood Station.
- K Line will now operated directly from Expo/Crenshaw Station to Redondo Beach Station via the new LAX/Metro Transit Center.
- C & K Line Link 857 will be discontinued by end of service on June 6th, 2025
