To facilitate final systems integration testing for the upcoming TEL Stage 5 opening, train service hours on the entire Thomson-East Coast Line will be adjusted on weekends.
π Impacted Schedule
Friday Nights: Train services will end earlier at 11:30 PM.
Saturday Mornings: Train services will start later at 8:30 AM.
Note: Regular operating hours apply on all other days.
π Alternative Travel Options (Saturday Mornings)
To help you stay connected before train services begin at 8:30 AM on Saturdays, three dedicated shuttle bus services (S51, S52, and S53) will operate from 5:00 AM to 8:30 AM at 5- to 10-minute intervals.
Fares for these shuttle services will match the standard MRT distance fare structure.
Shuttle S51: Plies between Woodlands North and Caldecott stations.
Shuttle S52: Plies between Caldecott and Marina Bay stations.
Shuttle S53: Plies between Marina Bay and Bayshore stations.
Please note: No dedicated shuttle buses will operate during the early closures on Friday nights. Commuters are advised to utilise regular trunk bus services.
