Celebrate by the waterfront! Toronto’s free New Year’s Eve celebrations take place along the Harbor front with fireworks and live entertainment — transit is the easiest way to get there and back.

Free service from 7:00 PM on Dec 31 until 8:00 AM on Jan 1
Subway Lines 1 and 2 run later than usual with extra late-night service
Blue Night buses and streetcars operate overnight after subway service ends
GO Transit & UP Express:
Free rides from 7:00 PM Dec 31 to 8:00 AM Jan 1
Additional late-night trains operate to and from Union Station

Late-night and free NYE service coordinated with TTC and GO
Travel Tip: Expect large crowds downtown and near the waterfront — allow extra travel time.
