On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April, there will be changes to travel on the Gold Coast line between Helensvale and Varsity Lakes due to Cross River Rail works.
There will be timetable changes and you may need to change trains.
Train and bus connections will be impacted, please make sure you allow extra travel time.
All times are in the journey planner, so please replan your journey to ensure you are catching the best service possible.
Travel from Varsity Lakes, Robina or Nerang
- Trains will leave from Varsity Lakes 10 minutes earlier and arrive at Helensvale station 10 minutes earlier than usual.
- You will need to change trains at Helensvale station to continue your journey.
- Trains travelling from Helensvale station towards the city will not be impacted.
Travel to Nerang, Robina or Varsity Lakes
- You will need to transfer to a Varsity Lakes train at Helensvale station to continue your journey
- Trains will leave Helensvale station 15 minutes later and arrive 15 minutes later than usual.
- Train and bus connections will be impacted.
- Please allow extra travel time.
Travel from Ormeau to Helensvale
- Trains travelling from Ormeau to Helensvale will run seven minutes later than usual.
- Train and bus connections will be impacted.
- Please allow extra travel time.
