Anzac Day service levels in South East Queensland

    On Thursday 25 April, some services will run to different timetables for the Anzac Day public holiday.

    All schedules are in the journey planner, so please plan your travel and check for service updates.

    Bus

    Most bus services will run to a Sunday/public holiday timetable.

    The following exceptions will be in place:

    Blue CityGlider

    Reduced timetable (no late night services)

    First services:

    • West End 5:24am
    • Teneriffe Ferry 5:23am

    Last services:

    • West End 11:24pm
    • Teneriffe Ferry 11:23pm

    Maroon CityGlider

    Reduced timetable (no late night services)

    First services:

    • Ashgrove 5:21am
    • Coorparoo Square 5:07am

    Last services:

    • Ashgrove 11:20pm
    • Coorparoo Square 11:06pm

    Route 261, 262, 299,399 and 587 – No services

    Route 529 – Saturday timetable

    Anzac Day Dawn Service

    Between 2:45am and 6am, additional services will run on the following routes to get you to the Dawn Service in Brisbane City:

    • 103, 111, 130, 140, 150 and 199
    • 200
    • 333, 345 and 385
    • 444

    Train

    Train services will run to a Sunday/public holiday timetable.

    There will also be additional trains running to get you to the Dawn Service.  

    No Nightlink trains will be running.

    Anzac Day march services

    Departure Station – Departure Time – Stops – Arrival time at Central Station

    • Ipswich – 7:46am, 8:22am – All stops – 8:50am, 9:27am
    • Springfield – 8:34am, 9:08am – All stops – 9:23am, 9:57am
    • Sunshine Coast – 5:56am – Express Caboolture to Bowen Hills, stopping at Petrie, Northgate and Eagle Junction -8:53am

    Ferry

    Ferries will run to the following timetables:

    Tram

    On Thursday 25 April, services will run to a weekday timetable.

    Additional services will be operating every 15 minutes from 3:30am until 5am for the Dawn Service, before the weekday timetable commences.

    Free travel information

    On Anzac Day, free travel is available on all services (excluding Airtrain) for Defence Force personnel and veterans in uniform or wearing service medals.

    Accompanying veteran spouses, family members wearing service medals, and children in official Scout, Girl-Guide or military association uniforms can also travel free of charge.
