Public transport for the 2024 Easter long weekend

During the Easter holiday period some services will run to different timetables. 

Good Friday 29 March

Buses

• Buses will run to a public holiday timetable, with the following exceptions:

Blue CityGlider :  Reduced timetable (no peak hour or late night services)

• First services:
  • Teneriffe Ferry – 5:23am
  • West End – 5:24am
• Last services:
  • Teneriffe Ferry – 11:23pm
  • West End – 11:24pm

Maroon City Glider: Reduced timetable (no peak hour or late night services)

• First services:
  • Coorparoo Junction – 5:07am
  • Ashgrove – 5:21am

  Last services:

  • Coorparoo Junction – 11.06pm
  • Ashgrove – 11.20pm

Routes 261, 262, 299, 399, 587 – No services

Routes 529 – Saturday timetable

Trains

• Services will run to a Sunday/public holiday timetable.
• No Nightlink trains will be running.
• Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines will also be affected by track closures. Timetabled railbuses will replace trains.

Ferries

Ferries will run to the following timetables:

• CityCat – Weekend/public holiday
• CityHopper – Friday 
• Cross River Ferries – Weekend/public holiday
• Southern Moreton Bay Island Ferries – Sunday/public holiday

Tram

Tram services will run to a weekday timetable.

Saturday 30 March

Buses

Buses will run to a Saturday timetable, with the following exceptions:

Blue CityGlider

• First services:
  • Teneriffe Ferry – 5:28am
  • West End – 5:29am

Maroon City Glider

• First services:
  • Coorparoo Junction – 5:07am
  • Ashgrove – 5:21am

Routes 261, 262, 299, 399 – No services

Trains

Services will run to a Saturday timetable. No Nightlink trains will be running.

Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines will also be affected by track closures. Timetabled railbuses will replace trains.

Ferries

Ferries will run to the following timetables:

• CityCat – Weekend/public holiday
• CityHopper – Saturday
• Cross River Ferries – Weekend/public holiday
• Southern Moreton Bay Island Ferries – Saturday
