Train Accident at Tanjung Malim – Follow this page for updates

    It had been announced by KTMB, the operator of the Port Klang Line, that services from Tanjong Malim will start only from Kuala Kubu Bahru due to a train collision accident.

    It is still unsure when will the service is expected to return to normal.

    Updates will be posted here periodically:

    0655: It was reported that a cargo train had collided with Komuter train at Tanjung Malim. All komuter service will start at Kuala Kubu Bahru instead of Tanjung Malim

    0745: Service had been partially restored to Tanjung Malim. However the service will continue to be running on limited service with expected delays of around 30 minutes.

    0920: Komuter trip 2317 (8.38am) had been delayed 40 minutes.

    1153: KTMB issued a press statement on the accident with detail explanation of the incident. 5 passenger was injured as a result. Press statement (in Malay) here.
