Dear riders,

We have collected several public transit changes that are worth getting to know about this week.

🌍 Climate march in Tel Aviv – Friday, October 28th

On Friday, October 28, the climate march will take place in Tel Aviv from 10:30 AM to approximately 1:00 PM. Several streets in the Ibn Gvirol and Kaplan areas will be closed and traffic is expected at the place.

πŸš„ Israel Railways will operate according to a designated schedule, which includes additional service between Haifa and Tel Aviv.

  • The trains will be operated between 6:00-15:00 (approximately), as well as a train line between Nahariya – Haifa – Tel Aviv Svidor Central stations, which will be operated at a frequency of one train every hour, in each direction. These trains will stop at the following stations: Acre, Kiryat Motzkin, Kiryat Haim, Hutsot Hamifratz, Merkazit Hamifratz, Haifa Hashmona, Haifa Bat Galim, Atlit, Binyamina, Caesarea Pardes Hana, Hadera West, Netanya, Netanya Sapir, Beit Yehoshua, Herzliya, Tel Aviv University and Tel Aviv Savidor Center (last/first stop).
  • Trains on the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon – Tel Aviv – Herzliya line as well as on the Ra’anana – Tel Aviv – Tel Aviv Savidor center line will be operated as usual.

 

🚧 Also, due to maintenance work at the Tel Aviv Hagana station, trains will not be operated on this day between Lod and Rishon Lezion Moshe Dayan stations and Tel Aviv Svidor Center.Β For passengers using these stations, free shuttles will operate. Note that trains will not operate between Modi’in and Tel Aviv stations.

The shuttles between Lod stations and central Tel Aviv Savidor and between Moshe Dayan and Tel Aviv Savidor Central will operate as follows:

Friday, October 28

From Lod to Tel Aviv Savidor center station from 06:00 to 14:30 every 30 minutes: xx:30, xx:00

From Tel Aviv Savidor Central to Lod station from 06:00 to 14:30 every 30 minutes: xx:30, xx:00

 

From Rishon Lezion Moshe Dayan to Tel Aviv Savidor Center Station from 05:30 to 14:30 every 30 minutes: xx:30, xx:00 (Also, a shuttle will be operated at 00:35 on the night between Thursday and Friday)

From Tel Aviv Savidor Center to Rishon Lezion Moshe Dayan station from 05:30 to 15:00 every 30 minutes: xx:30, xx:00

 

Train service will return to normal on Tuesday, October 29.


Tel Aviv – Changes to the public transportation lines in Levinsky area and Har Zion Ave.

Starting Friday, October 28, work will be carried out on the mentioned street. streets. Bus lines to which changes will apply: Dan – 4, 16, 17, 31, 46, 54, 104, 289 Egged – 83 Kavim – 236, 451, 461, 106 – will be cancelled


🚍 New line! 38 Petah Tikva <-> Holon

Starting Friday, October 28th, a new Dan line will start operating – line 38, from the Petah Tikva Central Station to Kiryat Sharet Terminal in Holon (Peres Park). The line will connect the Kiryat Aryeh industrial area to the Holon industrial area and will pass through the central routes of Ramat Gan, Givatayim Tel Aviv, and Holon.

⌚Daylight Saving Time coming to an end

Daylight Saving Time will come to an end in the early hours of Sunday, with the clock going back one hour. It is highly recommended to make sure your device is set for the change.

Moovit is updated with the latest changes that are being published by the bus operators and the Ministry of Transportation.
