    Service Increases

    7 Bathurst

    • Service will change to 12-metre bus operation for all periods, from Monday to Friday, in order to facilitate maintenance work on the articulated bus fleet.
    • All day service will increase from every 9 to 10 minutes to every 7 to 8 minutes.
    • Additional trips will be added at the beginning of the morning and afternoon peak periods.

    56 Leaside

    • A new afternoon school trip will be inserted on 56 Leaside from Eglinton Station at 2:58 p.m. to meet the dismissal time at Leaside High School.
    • The trip will arrive at Eglinton Avenue and Hanna Road at 3:11 p.m., and will supplement the existing school trip.

    60 Steeles West

    • Service will be increased in the morning peak period and midday, from Monday to Friday, to reduce overcrowding.
    • Schedules will also be revised in the peak periods and midday, from Monday to Friday, to improve service reliability and better reflect observed operating conditions
    • In the morning peak period, service west of Pioneer Village Station will improve from every seven to eight minutes to every seven minutes. Combined service between Pioneer Village Station and Finch Station will also be slightly improved
    • In the midday, service west of Pioneer Village Station will improve from every 13 to 14 minutes to every 9 to 10 minutes. Combined service between Pioneer Village Station and Finch Station will change slightly
    • In the afternoon peak period, service west of Pioneer Village Station will be reduced from every seven to eight minutes to every eight to nine minutes, and combined service between Pioneer Village Station and Finch Station will be reduced from every three to four minutes to every four to five minutes.

    95 York Mills

    • Service will be increased during the midday, from Monday to Friday, to reduce overcrowding.
    • Schedules will also be revised in all periods, from Monday to Friday, to improve service reliability and better reflect observed operating conditions.
    • In the morning and afternoon peak periods, service will change slightly.
    • In the midday, service will increase from every eight minutes to every seven minutes.
    • Evening service will remain largely unchanged.

    123 Sherway

    • Additional trips will be added to schedules on the 123F (Kipling Station-Sherway via West Mall) branch to better serve customers heading to and from destinations along The West Mall.
    • One trip will be added at the start of the morning peak period, departing southbound from Kipling Station at 5:41 a.m. The existing southbound trip at 6:19 a.m. will remain unchanged.
    • Six trips will be added at the start of the afternoon peak period.
    • These trips will depart southbound from Kipling Station at 2:23 p.m., 2:39 p.m., and 2.55 p.m., and northbound from Sherway Gardens at 2:10 p.m., 2:26 p.m., and 2:42 p.m.

    Service Reliability Improvements

    The Service Reliability Program, which continuously monitors and improves schedules to better match observed operating conditions, will result in new schedules for the following lines/routes:

    • 17 Birchmount
    • 30 Lambton
    • 32 Eglinton West
    • 33 Forest Hill
    • 36 Finch West
    • 53 Steeles East
    • 60 Steeles West
    • 85 Sheppard East
    • 95 York Mills
    • 116 Morningside
    • 512 St Clair
    • 913 Progress Express
    • 960 Steeles West Express
    • 995 York Mills Express

    New express stop

    902 Markham Rd Express 

    • A new express stop will be added to the route, southbound on Progress Avenue at Sheppard Avenue East (#12055).

    Schedule/service adjustments

    12 Kingston Rd 

    • The schedules of four school trips in the afternoon peak period, from Monday to Friday will be changed.
    • The 2:45 p.m. trip departing from Neil McNeil High School will be changed to leave earlier at 2:35 p.m., 2:49 p.m. trip will change to 2:39 p.m., the 2:53 p.m. trip will change to 2:43 p.m., and the 3 p.m. trip will change to 2:50 p.m.

    35 Jane (effective February 23, 2019)

    • Service will be adjusted in evening on Saturday.
    • In the early evening, service will be reduced from every 6 to 7 minutes to every 7 minutes.
    • In the late evening, service will be improved from every 9 to 10 minutes to every 8 to 9 minutes, to reduce crowding.

    42 Cummer

    • Service will be adjusted in evening, from Monday to Friday. In the early evening, service will be reduced from every 10 to 11 minutes to every 12 minutes.
    • In the late evening, service will be improved from every 20 minutes to every 16 minutes, to reduce crowding.

    53 Steeles East 

    • Service will be adjusted in the midday and early evening Monday to Friday to reallocate resources to other routes.
    • In the midday, service levels will be reduced from approximately every five minutes to every five to six minutes.
    • In the early evening, service levels will be reduced from approximately every four to five minutes to every five minutes.
    • Schedules will also be revised in all periods, from Monday to Friday, to improve service reliability and better reflect observed operating conditions.

    85 Sheppard East

    • Select 85A (Don Mills-Rouge Hill GO Station) trips will be adjusted to provide better connection times to customers travelling to and from Lakeshore East GO at Rouge Hill GO Station.

    88 South Leaside (effective February 17, 2019)

    • During all days of the week, the final late evening eastbound trips on the 88A and 88B branches will be extended to complete a westbound trip back to St. Clair Station, rather than going out of service at Thorncliffe Park Drive and Overlea Boulevard.
    • This change will provide full last trips in both directions in the loop through the Thorncliffe Park and Leaside areas.

    960 Steeles West Express

    • Schedules will be revised in all periods, from Monday to Friday, to improve service reliability and better reflect observed operating conditions, and to reallocate resources to the 60 Steeles West local service.
    • In the morning peak period, service will be reduced from every eight minutes to every ten minutes. In the afternoon peak period, service will be reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.

    Construction-related changes

    Changes to schedules on the following routes are being made to maintain service reliability and to accommodate potential disruptions by Metrolinx/Crosslinx LRT construction work:

    • 7 Bathurst
    • 33 Forest Hill
