Public transit updates this week ๐Ÿš

Dear riders,

We have collected for you several public transit changes that will take place this week.

Rail service changes in the Tel Aviv area, Friday, January 6

This Friday, January 6, maintenance work will be carried out, and the following service changes will be applied:

  • Trains on Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon – Herzliya lineย will operate as scheduled and their route will be extended to Beit Yehoshua and Netanya stations
  • Trains on Ashkelon– Rishon Lezion Moshe Dayan – Herzliya – will be operated in a split format: between Ashkelon and Tel Aviv Hagana stations, and between Herzliya and Bnei Brak stations and will not stop at Tel Aviv HaShalom, Tel Savidor Central stations, and Tel Aviv University
  • Trains onย the Beer Sheva – Tel Aviv Savidor Central line – will operate between the Beer Sheva and Tel Aviv Hagana stations only, and will not stop at the Tel Aviv HaShalom and Central Tel Aviv stations
  • Trains onย the Modi’in – Tel Aviv Savidor Central line – will operate between Modi’in and Tel Aviv Hagana stations only, and will not stop at the Tel Aviv HaShalom and Central Tel Aviv stations
  • Trains onย the Rehovot – Netanya lineย – will operate between Rehovot and Haganah stations only, and will not stop at Tel Aviv Savidor Center, Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Beit Yehoshua, and Netanya stations
  • Trains onย the Beit Shemesh – Netanya lineย – will operate between Beit Shemesh and Tel Aviv Hagana stations only, and will not stop at Tel Aviv HaShalom, Tel Aviv University, Herzliya, Beit Yehoshua, Netanya Sapir, and Netanya stations
  • Netanya Sapir station will be temporarily closed on this day

๐ŸšŒ Free shuttles will be operated between Tel Aviv Hagana – Tel Aviv Savidor Central – Bnei Brak stations (in both directions):

> From Bnei Brak station (via Tel Aviv Savidor Center station) to Tel Aviv Hagana station at 00:30 and from 06:15 to 14:15 every 30 minutes xx:45, xx:15ย ย 

> From Tel Aviv Hagana station (via the Tel Aviv Savidor Center station) to the Bnei Brak station from 05:40 to 14:40 every hour: xx:40ย ย 

Service will return to normal on Saturday night, January 7.


Rail service changes during weekends, January 2023

Trains on the Rehovot – Netanya line

Friday, January 6

  • The trains will operate between Lod and Hagana stations only and will not stop at Rehovot, Yavne East, Beer Ya’akov, HaShalom, Savidor Center, University, Herzliya, and Netanya stations.ย 

๐Ÿš„ On Thursdays, starting at 22:00 (approximately) until Sunday during the whole month, trains will start and end their journey at Lod station and will not stop at Yavne East, Beer Ya’akov, and Rehovot stations.

๐Ÿšง During these days and hours, the Rehovot, Yavne East and Beer Ya’akov stations will be temporarily closed to service

๐ŸšŒ Free shuttles will be operated in both directions

Thursdays

From Rehovot (via Beer Yaakov) to Lod at 22:00, 23:00ย 

From Lod (via Beer Yaakov) to Rehovot at 22:25, 23:25

Fridays

From Lod (via Beer Yaakov) To Rehovot, from 06:55 to 14:55 every hour: xx:55

From Rehovot (via Beer Ya’akov station) to Lod station, from 06:00 to 14:00 every hour: xx:00ย 

Saturday Night

From Lod (via Beer Yaakov) to Rehovot at: 21:05, 22:05, and 23:05

From Rehovot (via Beer Yaakov) to Lod station at 20:00, 21:00, and 22:00

*The shuttles from Rehovot will depart from the southern entrance

Trains on the Ashkelon – Moshe Dayan – Herzliya line

On Thursdays starting at 22:00 (approximately) and until the end of the service, trains will start and end their journey at the Moshe Dayan Rishon Lezion station, and will not stop at Ashkelon, Ashdod Ad Halom and Yavne West stations.

On Fridays and Saturdays, during all service hours on the following dates: 13-14.1, and 27-28.1

๐Ÿš„ Trains will start and end at the Yavne West station, and will not stop at Ashkelon and Ashdod stations

๐Ÿšง Ashkelon, and Ashdod Ad Halom stations will be temporarily closed to service

๐ŸšŒ Free shuttles will be operated

Service will return to normal every Sunday, with the renewal of service


๐Ÿš Jerusalem – New bus lines starting January 6

As part of improving the public transportation service system in Jerusalem, Superbusย company will operate two new lines –ย 90ย andย 516 that will provide new urban connections between neighborhoods and commercial areas.

Line 90 (circular) – Talpiot West- Binyanei Haumaย 

Line 516 – Ramot – Bait Vagan – Malha
