The Vienna City Marathon takes place on Sunday, April 21. Thousands of runners will be out and about in Vienna. Therefore, there will be restrictions on public transport from Saturday, April 20 (start of service) to Sunday, April 21 (around 20:00).

Between Börse and Schwarzenbergplatz detour in both directions via Schwedenplatz U and Stubentor U.
From around 17:30 to 20:00 split route: no service between Börse and Schwarzenbergplatz.
Line 1:
Detour in both directions between Schwarzenbergplatz and Julius-Raab-Platz via Stubentor U.
From around 17:30 to 20:00 detour in both directions between Quartier Belvedere S and Hintere Zollamtsstraße via Rennweg S – Landstraße S U (please note the construction site-related detour via the route of line D).
Line 2:
Local detour if necessary. Parliament stop cannot be maintained.
From around 2:30 pm to 8:00 pm, split route, no service between Ring, Volkstheater U and Schwedenplatz U.
Line 71:
Short route, service only between Kaiserebersdorf and Schwarzenbergplatz.
Line U2Z:
Due to the closure of the Ringstraße, the night line U2Z cannot run on Saturday night.
