Due to the incident on La Rambla in Barcelona, the authorities urge you to stay indoors. At this time the bus and metro service around Plaça de Catalunya is affected.
Bus service interruptions
The buses whose routes pass through the centre have been rerouted. The bus lines running along Paral·lel, between Avinguda Diagonal and Passeig de Colom and Carrer de Muntaner and Passeig de Sant Joan are not running. Follow the Guàrdia Urbana police’s instructions.
Metro service interruptions
At this time the following metro lines have been affected:
- L1 is running between Hospital de Bellvitge and Torras i Bages.
- L2 is running between Sagrada Família and Badalona Pompeu Fabra.
- L3 is running between Zona Universitària- Espanya and Lesseps-Trinitat Nova.
- The following stations are closed: Universitat (L1/L2), Catalunya (L1/L3) and Passeig de Gràcia (L2/L3/L4)
Follow at all times the instructions given by staff, who will be in contact with the public safety authorities. Instructions and information will also be given over the loudspeakers and on the lighted panels
