Service Adjustments for Maintenance Monday Through Friday
Advisory Effective: 4/24/17 – 4/28/17
Metrorail reconstruction continues Monday through Friday this week.
- Midday work between 9:30 a.m. & 3:00 p.m.
- Weeknight work from 7:30 p.m. until closing.
The following lines are affected:
Red Line
- Midday: Regular service.
- Weeknight: Trains every 20-25 minutes.
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 p.m. through close, single tracking between Silver Spring & Forest Glen to allow for preventive maintenance.
Orange Line
- Midday: Regular service.
- Weeknight: Regular service.
Silver Line
- Midday: Regular service.
- Weeknight: Regular service.
Blue Line
- Midday: Regular service.
- Weeknight: Regular service.
Yellow Line
- SafeTrack Surge 14 – Line segment shutdown between Greenbelt & Prince George’s Plaza.
- Yellow Line trains will operate normal service between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Square only.
Green Line
- SafeTrack Surge 14 – Line segment shutdown between Greenbelt & Prince George’s Plaza.
- Greenbelt and College Park stations are closed.
- Green Line trains will operate near normal service between Prince George’s Plaza and Branch Avenue.
