SafeTrack Surge #14

SafeTrack Surge #14 will result in a shutdown of a portion of the Green Line between Prince George’s Plaza, College Park-U of Md and Greenbelt stations. The surge will be conducted in two phases:

• Phase 1 – April 15 through April 29: Free shuttle buses will replace Green Line trains between Greenbelt and Prince George’s Plaza. Greenbelt and College Park-U of Md stations will be closed. Green Line trains will operate on a near normal schedule at all other stations (between Prince George’s Plaza and Branch Ave). Yellow Rush+ trains will not operate.
• Phase 2 – April 30 through May 14: Free shuttle buses will replace Green Line trains between Greenbelt and College Park-U of Md. Greenbelt Station will be closed. Green Line trains will operate on a near normal schedule at all other stations (between College Park and Branch Ave). Yellow Rush+ trains will not operate.

Highlights:

• No trains between Greenbelt and Prince George’s Plaza (phase 1) or College Park – U of Md (phase 2)
• No Yellow Rush+ trains in service during the surge (any station)
• Near normal Green Line service at all stations outside the work area
