Service Adjustments for this Week
Advisory Effective: 6/5/17 – 6/11/17
Metro will operate largely free of scheduled track work over Capital Pride Weekend, June 10-11, 2017.
Highlights
- Red, Blue, Yellow and Green line trains will operate regular weekend service.
- Free shuttle buses replace Orange Line trains between Stadium-Armory and New Carrollton due toSafeTrack Surge 15.
- Silver Line trains will operate regular weekend service between Wiehle-Reston East and Stadium-Armory only.
Red Line
- Regular weekend service
Orange Line
SafeTrack Surge 15: Line segment shut down between Stadium-Armory and New Carrollton
- Orange Line trains will operate regular weekend service (12-15 minutes) between Vienna and Largo Town Center.
- New Carrollton, Landover, Cheverly, Deanwood and Minnesota Ave stations are closed.
Silver Line
SafeTrack Surge 15: Trains operate between Wiehle-Reston East and Stadium-Armory only
- Silver Line trains will operate regular weekend service (12-15 minutes) between Wiehle-Reston East and Stadium-Armory only.
- Users traveling to/from other stations should use Orange or Blue line trains to complete their trip.
- At Stadium-Armory, transfer between Silver and Orange/Blue line trains on the same platform.
Blue Line
- Regular weekend service
Yellow Line
- Regular weekend service, Huntington to Fort Totten
Green Line
- Regular weekend service
