Mon-Thurs service adjustments for maintenance March 6-9

Metrorail reconstruction continues Monday through Thursday this week with the following service adjustments. Midday work between 9:30 a.m. & 3:00 p.m. W eeknight work from 7:30 p.m. until closing.
Passengers at stations impacted by these service adjustments are asked to follow Passenger Information Display signs, station announcements or consult a Station Manager for any boarding location changes.
Red Line
Midday: Regular service
Weeknight: Trains every 20-25 minutes
Monday through Thursday 8:00 p.m. through closing, single tracking between Silver Spring & Wheaton to allow for preventive maintenance.
Blue Line
SafeTrack Surge 13 – Continuous single tracking between Braddock Road and Van Dorn Street | March 4 through April 9
Blue Line trains will operate every 24 minutes.
Yellow Line
SafeTrack Surge 13 – Continuous single tracking between Braddock Road and Van Dorn Street | March 4 through April 9
Yellow Line trains will operate every 24 minutes between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Square. Customers traveling to/from stations north of Mt. Vernon Square should use a Green Line train to complete their trip.
