Rail service will be temporarily suspended at 7th St/Metro Center and Pico Station from Friday, March 11 at 9 p.m., through close of service on Sunday, March 13.
During this time, a free bus shuttle, Line 859, will replace train service between 7th Street/Metro Center, Pico Station, LATTC/Ortho Institute Station, Grand/LATTC Station, San Pedro Station, and Washington Station.
859 Shuttle Stops:
- 7th/Metro Station northbound – Figueroa and 7th.
- 7th/Metro Station southbound – Hope and 7th.
- Pico Station northbound – Pico and Figueroa
- Pico Station southbound – Pico and Flower
The shuttles are set to coincide with the train but will not be following a fixed schedule, and will leave as soon as the bus fills up. Therefore, you won’t see the 859 listed in the app.
Metro staff will be on hand to lend assistance where bus shuttles are running.
The J Line (Silver), LADOT Dash F Line, and Metro Bike Share also provide service at the affected stations.
