Weekend updates
Last week we covered the new station opening and hopefully, it does reduce the time it takes for residents near Canberra to go to the City. Nevertheless, there are a few weekend changes this week.
Here are the changes:
1) East West Line (EWL): Stations between Jurong East & Outram Park will end early at around 11pm for engineering works
On the morning of 8th & 9th November (Friday & Saturday), several stations Between Jurong East and Outram Park will end its service earlier at around 11pm. There will be no service from Tiong Bahru & Clementi and trains service will terminate at Jurong East & Outram Park respectively.
2) Shuttle 1 | Jurong East – Outram Park: Replacement shuttle during early closure of stations.
During planned disruption of the East-West Line (EWL), replacement service (Shuttle 1) will be activated for passengers who wish to travel to affected stations. The said replacement service will run at a frequency of 3-5 minutes.
3) North East Line (NEL): Stations between Serangoon & Punggol will end early at around 11pm for engineering works
On the morning of 8th & 9th November (Friday & Saturday), several stations Between Serangoon and Punggol will end its service earlier at around 11pm. There will be no service from Kovan & Punggol and trains service will terminate at Serangoon respectively.
4) Shuttle 21 | Serangoon – Punggol: Replacement shuttle during early closure of stations.
During planned disruption of the North-East Line (NEL), replacement service (Shuttle 21) will be activated for passengers who wish to travel to affected stations. The said replacement service will run at a frequency of 3-5 minutes.
5) Bus stop skipped during SGX Bull Charge Charity Run
On Friday, 8th November, 5.00pm to 7.30pm, several bus route will skip The Esplanade during the SGX Bull Charge Charity Run.

On Saturday, 9th November, 6am to 3pm, Bus number 825 will skip Countryside Gdn P/G to give way to a Tree Planting event
