Services Changes This Week
- 30 September：
- KMB 79K: First departure from Sheung Shui will be brought earlier to 05:50.
- Changes to KMB 251C:
- Enhancement to daily service from Kong Ha Wai with operation hours at 06:00 to 22:00;
- Service expanded to Yuen Loong Town. Service will no longer pass through Pat Heung Road (Tai Lam Interchange);
- Full fare adjusted to $6.40, with sectional fare of $5.80 starting from Kam Sheung Road Public Transport Interchange.
- Additional departures for KMB X42C on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays from Ysing Yi at 09:15 to 17:15, while departure from You Tong at 10:30 to 19:00.
- Last departure of New Territories GMB service 59S from Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point will be adjusted to 22:30.
- KMB will install KMB Fare Saver reader at Kong Ha Wai Transitional Housing. Passenger on Adult or Student Octopus Card can enjoy $1 off their fare on KMB service (Except non-KMB operated Cross Harbour Service, MTR Feeder Bus service K12, K14, K17, & K18)
- 1 October：
- In conjunction with the 74th Anniversary of the Establishment of the People’s Republic of China, all passengers can enjoy free rides on all MTR Bus routes in North-West New Territories.
- Similarary, passengers below 12 years old with Child Octopus Card can enjoy free rides on all Kowloon Motor Bus and Long Win Bus routes throughout the day (Except MTR Feeder Bus, non KMB/LWB operated trip on joint operation route)
