Public transport services will operate to a public holiday timetable on Good Friday and Easter Monday, but some services may be altered or will not run. Services will run to a normal Saturday timetable on Easter Saturday and a normal Sunday timetable on Easter Sunday.
1 – Good Friday 7 April 2023
Metropolitan train
- Trains will operate to a Sunday timetable, with Night Trains running as normal.
Metropolitan tram
- Trams will operate to a Sunday frequency, with Night Network running as normal.
- City Circle trams will not run.
Metropolitan bus
- Most services will run to a Sunday timetable, but some services may be altered or will not run.
- Night Buses will run as normal.
Regional train
- V/Line trains will run to a Sunday timetable.
Regional coach
- Scheduled coach services will run to an altered Sunday timetable.
2 – Easter Saturday 8 April 2023
- All services will run to a normal Saturday timetable.
- Night Network services will run as normal
3 – Easter Sunday 9 April 2023
- All services will run to a normal Sunday timetable.
- Night Network will not run.
4 – Easter Monday 10 April 2023
Metropolitan train
- Trains will operate to a Saturday timetable.
- Night Network will not run.
Metropolitan tram
- Trams will operate to a Saturday frequency, with the last tram one hour earlier than the usual Saturday timetable.
- City Circle trams will run to a normal Monday timetable.
- Night Network will not run.
Metropolitan bus
- Most services will run to a Saturday timetable, but some services may be altered or will not run.
- Night Network will not run.
Regional train
- V/Line trains will run to a Saturday timetable.
- The 1.35pm train from Swan Hill to Southern Cross Station will depart at 4.36pm.
- Night Network will not run.

- Scheduled coach services will run to an altered Saturday timetable
