Metro Trains
Craigieburn Line
Buses replace trains between North Melbourne and Craigieburn from 8.20pm Wednesday 7 October to last train Sunday 11 October, due to maintenance works.
Craigieburn, Sunbury, Upfield and Werribee lines
Trains on the Craigieburn, Sunbury, Upfield and Werribee lines will run direct to and from Flinders Street, not via the City Loop from 9pm Friday 9 October to last train Sunday 11 October, due to works.
Cranbourne Line
Buses replace trains between Dandenong and Cranbourne from:
- 8pm to last train on Saturday 10 October
- 7.30pm to last train Thursday 15 October
- 10.30pm Friday 16 October to last train Sunday 18 October
- Cranbourne, Frankston, Pakenham and Sandringham lines
Trains on the Cranbourne, Frankston, Pakenham and Sandringham lines will run direct to and from Flinders Street, not via the City Loop from 9pm Friday 9 October to last train Sunday 11 October, due to works.
Hurstbridge Line
Buses replace Hurstbridge line trains between Clifton Hill and Macleod from 8.30pm to last train each night, Sunday 11 October to Wednesday 14 October.
Mernda Line
Due to project works, buses replace trains between Epping and Mernda from 8.50pm to last train each night, Sunday 11 October to Thursday 15 October.
Pakenham Line
Due to project works, buses replace trains between Dandenong and Pakenham from:
- 8.30pm to last train on Thursday 8 October
- 8.30pm Friday 9 October to 7am Saturday 10 October
- 9pm Saturday 10 October to 7am Sunday 11 October
- 9pm Sunday 11 October to last train Sunday 11 October
- 8.30pm to last train each night, Monday 12 October to Thursday 15 October
Sunbury Line
Buses replace trains between North Melbourne and Sunbury stations from 5am on Saturday 10 October to last train on Sunday 11 October, due to works.
Upfield Line
Buses replace trains on sections of the Upfield line from Monday 27 July to Sunday 15 November due to level crossing removal works.
Buses replace trains between:
- Brunswick and Upfield from Monday 3 August Sunday 8 November
- The City (Flagstaff) and Upfield from Monday 9 November to Sunday 15 November
- There will also be some changes to local bus stops, car park closures and road closures in the area.
Werribee Line
Due to project works, buses replace trains between Newport and Werribee from:
- 7.25pm to last train on Thursday 8 October
- 8.20pm Friday 9 October to 6am Saturday 10 October
- 8.30pm Saturday 10 October to 6am Sunday 11 October
- 9pm to last train on Sunday 11 October
- 7.25pm to last train each night, Monday 12 October to Thursday 15 October
Williamstown Line
Buses replace trains between Newport and Williamstown from 7.25pm to last train each night from Tuesday 13 October and Wednesday 14 October, while works take place.
Yarra Trams
Routes 12 and 30
Route 12 and 30 trams will experience changes to tram services from first service Monday 13 July to last service Sunday 1 November.
Routes 3a, 16 and 64
Buses partially replace Route 3a, 16 and 64 trams, diverting around Hawthorn Road renewal works on Saturday 10 October and Sunday 11 October.
Routes 19 and 58
Route 19 and 58 trams may experience higher than usual demand from 8.30pm on Monday 27 July to last tram on Sunday 15 November, due to level crossing removal works on the Upfield line.
Route 109
Buses replace Route 109 trams between Stop 125 Clarendon Street Junction and Port Melbourne from Monday 5 October to last tram Friday 9 October, due to light rail renewal works.
V/Line
Victorian and New South Wales border closure
New South Wales and South Australia have temporarily closed their borders to Victoria. If you need to enter either state for essential purposes, you need to apply for a permit or pre-approval before travelling. There are changes to public transport services at the borders.
Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill
Coaches will replace Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill line trains for all or part of the journey from Saturday 10 October to Tuesday 13 October.
Seymour and Shepparton Lines
Coaches replace all trains on the Seymour and Shepparton lines for the whole journey from first service Thursday 8 October to last service Sunday 11 October, due to works.
