From Approximately 1325 to 1500 today.
Darlington Street and Lichfield Street will be closed in order to permit the funeral of Baroness Rachael Heyhoe Flint to take place. During this period, city centre buses will be diverted. Passengers who would normally board their buses adjacent to St Peter’s Church in Lichfield Street, as well as in Darlington Street or Victoria Street should board them at Piper’s Row Bus Station, except:-
Service 1 – Passengers should board or alight at the Grand Theatre bus stops in Lichfield Street.
Services 3 – Passengers for Castlecroft should board or alight at the bus stop in Stafford Street opposite the University. Journeys to Fordhouses are unaffected and will board at their normal bus stops.
Services 4 – Passengers for Spring Hill should board or alight at the bus stops in Stafford Street opposite the University. Journeys to i54 are unaffected and will board at their normal bus stops.
Service 61 – Passengers should board or alight at the bus stop in Bilston Street.
Services 67, 70/70A, 71/71A, 876, 877, 878 – Passengers for should board or alight at the bus stop in Stafford Street opposite the University.
