Weekend Travel Update

🏗️ Victoria Tram Works: Sunday 8 Feb

No trams will operate through Victoria station from the start of service until 10:00 AM due to track repair works.

🚋 Modified Tram Routes (until 10 AM)

During this period, services will run every 15 minutes on the following patterns:

• Bury ↔ Victoria: Trams will terminate at Victoria.

• Rochdale Town Centre ↔ Victoria: Trams will terminate at Victoria.

• East Didsbury ↔ Exchange Square: Trams will terminate at Exchange Square instead of continuing through Victoria.

• Manchester Airport ↔ Piccadilly: Services will be diverted to Piccadilly.

• Ashton-under-Lyne ↔ Eccles (via MediaCityUK): Operating normally.

• Altrincham ↔ Etihad Campus: Operating normally.

• Trafford Centre ↔ Deansgate-Castlefield: Operating normally.

🚌 Replacement Bus Service

A dedicated bus replacement service will run every 15 minutes to connect the city center stations:

• Route: Piccadilly ↔ Piccadilly Gardens ↔ Shudehill ↔ Victoria.

• First Bus: From Piccadilly at 06:50; from Victoria at 07:11.

• Last Bus: From Piccadilly at 11:20; from Victoria at 10:56.

✅ Normal Service Restored

Normal service across the entire network is expected to resume between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, though some minor delays may occur as the full pattern is restored.
