Additional KTM Komuter Services during Negeri Sembilan State Election Weekend

    To facilitate smooth travel for voters returning home for the Negeri Sembilan state election, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has adjusted its Klang Valley KTM Komuter operational schedule from 31 July to 2 August.

    The revised schedule includes additional full-length runs on key routes alongside targeted trip modifications and cancellations to optimise network frequency during the polling weekend.

    Seremban Line (Batu Caves – Pulau Sebang)

    Passengers travelling along the Seremban Line should note specific cancellations and adjustments alongside the extra daily runs.

    2. Additional Trips (31 July – 2 August)

    To accommodate election-bound commuter traffic, 10 additional full-length services will operate along the entire Batu Caves – Pulau Sebang corridor:

    • Southbound / Northbound Extra Services: 2427, 2441, 2445, 2455, 2469, 2420, 2444, 2460, 2464, and 2468.

    Port Klang Line (Tanjung Malim – Port Klang)

    KTMB is also adding targeted shuttle services between Port Klang and KL Sentral to absorb passenger volume.

    Additional Services (31 July – 2 August)

    The following additional train trips will operate specifically between Port Klang and KL Sentral (terminating at KL Sentral instead of proceeding to Tanjung Malim):

    • Extra Shuttle Services: 2529, 2537, 2549, 2587, 2540, 2548, 2556, and 2588.

    Passenger Note: Commuters traveling from the Port Klang Line toward Seremban or Pulau Sebang can board these additional trips and smoothly transfer to the Seremban Line at KL Sentral.

    Key Tips for Voters & Passengers

    • Verify Departure Times: Check the Moovit app prior to departure to access detailed, station-specific trip information, platform details, and updated arrival times for retimed trains.

    • Arrive Early: High passenger turnover is expected across major interchange nodes like KL Sentral, Bandar Tasik Selatan, and Seremban.

    • Flexible Open Payment Accepted: KTM Komuter automated gates support direct contactless payments—simply tap in and tap out using your Touch ‘n Go card, Visa, MasterCard, or MyDebit card. Ensure your card/wallet has sufficient funds to bypass ticketing queues at stations.
