Bus lines are returning to full service

Dear passengers,

Starting Sunday (October 11), the current restrictions on public transportation will be eased. Check out the following updates:

📅 Public Transportation during the upcoming weekend (9-10.10)

  • On Friday, intracity lines and the light rail in Jerusalem will operate as usual until the end of service and will return operating on Saturday evening until 22:00
  • Intercity buses will not operate
  • Israel Railways will not operate

🚍 Starting Sunday, October 11, bus lines will return to full service

Most of the bus lines that have been canceled during the lockdown, will return gradually to full service starting Sunday until Wednesday. The frequency of these lines is expected to grow as well. During weekdays, buses will operate until 20:00.


😷 General guidelines

Ride payments on public transportation – payment is allowed only with a Rav Kav card that has been charged in advance, with the exception of Judea and Samaria residents, visually impaired assistants, and senior citizens. In Israel Railways payment is available with a Rav Kav card that has been charged in advance, in the Israel Railways website, or at the station. For every train ride, it is mandatory to issue an entry pass. We remind you, that in accordance with the Ministries of Health and Transportation guidelines, it is mandatory to wear a face mask in every ride and not use any public transportation line if having illness symptoms.
