Public transportation will return operating until 22:00

Dear passengers,

Following the Ministry of Transportation’s latest guidelines, we have collected a few updates you should know 👇

📢 Starting Tuesday, October 13, public transportation will return operating until 22:00

Intracity and intercity buses that were operating during the lockdown period until 20:00 will extend their service hours until 22:00. Israel Railways will extend the service hours starting October 18.


👉 Which transit types will operate during the weekend? 

  • On Fridays, intracity bus lines, the light rail in Jerusalem, and the Carmelit in Haifa will operate until the end of service and will return operating on Saturday evening until 22:00, according to their regular schedule
  • During the weekend, intercity bus lines and Israel Railways will not operate

👉 General Guidelines

Ride payments on public transportation – payment is allowed only with a Rav Kav card that has been charged in advance, with the exception of Judea and Samaria residents, visually impaired assistants, and senior citizens. In Israel Railways payment is available with a Rav Kav card that has been charged in advance, in the Israel Railways website, or at the station. For every train ride, it is mandatory to issue an entry pass. We remind you, that in accordance with the Ministries of Health and Transportation guidelines, it is mandatory to wear a face mask in every ride and not use any public transportation line if having illness symptoms.
