Here are some top tips for navigating transit during the holiday:

Peak Travel times are:
- Wednesday, Nov. 27 (just before Thanksgiving)
- Saturday, Nov. 30 (post-feast travels)
- Sunday, Dec. 1 (heading home from holiday visits)
Many Agencies operate holiday, alternative, or no service on the following days:
- Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 28
- Day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 29

🚍Plan Ahead & Take Public Transit to Thanksgiving!
- 🗓Plan:
- Use Moovit to plan your trip in advance to check for best travel options.

- Day Before Thanksgiving, Wednesday, November 27th:
- Subway, bus, Commuter Rail, and The RIDE run on regular weekday service.
- Increased Silver Line service to and from Logan Airport.
- Ferry will operate on a typical weekday schedule. Additional early afternoon departures for Hingham to Boston and Hingham to Hull/Logan to Boston.
- Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28th:
- No Ferry service.
- Subway, Bus, and The RIDE will run on a Sunday schedule.
- Commuter Rail will run on a weekend schedule.
- Day After Thanksgiving, Friday, November 29th:
- Subway, Bus and The RIDE will run on a weekday schedule.
- There will be increased Silver Line service to and from Logan Airport.
- Commuter Rail will run on a weekend schedule.
- Day Before Thanksgiving, Wednesday, November 27th:
- Massport & Logan Express
- Massport & Logan Express will operate regular service on Thanksgiving Day.
- Rhode Island Public Transit Authority
- Rhode Island Public Transit Authority will operate Sunday service on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th, and will Saturday service on Friday, November 29th.
- Boston Express
- Boston Express will operate regular service on Thanksgiving Day.
- The following agencies will have no service on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28th:
- Brockton Area Transit Authority
- Lowell Regional Transit Authority
- Merrimack Valley Transit
- MetroWest Regional Transit Authority
- Southeastern Regional Transit Authority
- GATRA
- Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority
