Golden Gate Warriors’ Championship Parade Transit Updates

    Transit updates and detours will be in effect for the Golden State Warriors’ championship parade on Monday, June 20, 2022, from 11:20 am until 2:00 pm, on Market Street, between Main and Eighth streets.

    BART will have special event trains to accommodate the expected crowds as well as extra staff deployed at all downtown San Francisco stations to help riders get to the parade route.

    Red (Richmond-Millbrae) and Yellow (Antioch-SFO) Line trains coming from the East Bay going into downtown San Francisco will not stop at Montgomery Street Station before the parade. Those riders should instead plan to get off at Embarcadero, Powell Street, or Civic Center stations.


    Caltrain will be running trains with extra capacity.


    Muni reroutes in the area of the parade will be in effect for the following routes:

    • 7 Haight / Noriega
    • 31 Balboa
    • 38 Geary
    • 38R Geary Rapid

    on Monday, June 20 from 4:00 am to 6:00 pm:

    • 8 Bayshore
    • 15 Bayview Express Monday
    • 19 Polk
    • 27 Bryant
    • 30 Stockton north/south of Market
    • 45 Union / Stockton north/south of Market

    There will be additional subway shuttle trains and extra bus trips available on the 9, 38, 38R, 14, and 14R.

    The California cable car line and F-Market/Wharves will run motorized buses.

    Several bus lines that use Market Street will be rerouted to Mission Street beginning Sunday at 3 p.m.
