Dublin Pride Parade & Summer Events

June 25, 2026
    🚌 Dublin Bus & Go-Ahead Ireland
    • Dublin Pride Parade Diversions (Saturday, 27 June) 🌈: Due to extensive street closures for the Dublin Pride celebrations, significant rolling diversions will affect the city center from 06:00 onwards. Core arterial routes—including Routes 4, 11, 15a, 15b, 19, 23, 24, 27, 33, 38/a, 39, 41/b/c, 44, 70, 151, and the C-Spine (C1–C4)—will be re-routed away from Merrion Square, O’Connell Street, and structural crossing points.

    • Marlay Park & Malahide Castle Concerts: Dedicated event diversions remain active during peak evening egress times (21:30 to 23:30) affecting peripheral routes including Route 102 and Route S8.

    • Route 44 Long-Term Diversion: Due to an ongoing road closure at Kilternan, permanent diversions remain in place in both directions until late August.

🚆 Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail & DART)
    • Northern Line / DART Resumption: Following significant infrastructure damage to the overhead lines near Raheny, full rail services have successfully resumed on the Northside DART, Northern Commuter, and Enterprise lines. Residual cascading delays may affect some schedules.

    • Essential Scheduled Night Works: Passengers are advised that late-night/overnight engineering works involving heavy track machinery will take place through Saturday, 27 June. Affected areas include Booterstown to Dún Laoghaire (overhead line inspections) and Clontarf to Kilbarrack (vegetation control). Services will experience minor late-night schedule amendments.

    🚊 Luas (Tram Network)
    • Service Status: Both the Red and Green lines are operating on normal frequencies. Passengers traveling to weekend city-center events are encouraged to utilize the tram network as an alternative to bus routes affected by surface street closures.
