Starting today, January 5th, LA Metro is adjusting schedules for C and K lines in order to accommodate work for the LAX/Metro Transit Center station.
What is the service change?
The adjusted schedules will have trains running every 12 minutes most of each day instead of the usual every 10 minutes.
Here are the adjusted timetables: C Line and K Line.
Metro will update riders on the work progress near the end of January with the goal to get back to regular schedules as soon as the work is done.
What’s happening?
LA Metro is working on track and overhead wire work near the new station,
LA Metro doesn’t have an opening date for the new station and will update once a date is set.
When the new station opens, C Line trains will run between Norwalk and the LAX/MTC and K Line trains will run between Expo/Crenshaw and Redondo Beach. The temporary bus shuttle between Westchester/Veterans, Aviation/Century and Aviation/LAX stations will cease at that time.
