Fares are completely FREE after 8:30 PM on Saturday, July 4 across all Subway, Bus, Ferry, Commuter Rail, and RIDE services!

🚊 The T & Commuter Rail Plans
The T (Red, Orange, Blue, Green Lines): Operating on a Saturday schedule with increased service starting at 3:00 PM through the end of the night to move holiday crowds efficiently.
Commuter Rail: Operating on a weekend schedule. Most final evening trains depart North and South stations between 11:30 PM and Midnight. Important: If the fireworks are delayed, trains will hold and depart up to 30 minutes after the grand finale.
No Bikes: To keep trains safe and spacious for families, bicycles are not allowed on trains after 8:30 PM.
🚌 Bus & Ferry Services
Buses & Silver Line: Operating a modified Sunday schedule but with extended evening service to ensure everyone gets home after the fireworks.
Ferries: Hingham/Hull/Logan and East Boston/Charlestown/Lynn routes will run on weekend schedules. Note that the Harbor Loop ferries will not operate.
