    Miami Dade Transit 

    Metrobus & Metrorail Alerts

    METRORAIL ORANGE LINE 

    • The Orange Line has resumed operation between Dadeland South & Miami Airport station. Weekday frequency is 10-min peak, 15-min off-peak, & 30-min after 8:30 pm; weekend frequency is 30-min all day.

    ROUTES 3, 11, 27, 38, 112 (L), 119 (S), 246 & 500 

    • Overnight service for these routes has been reinstated.
    • The GO Nightly program will be discontinued with the reinstatement of overnight bus service.

    ROUTE 8/8A

    • Weekday service frequency will be adjusted:
      • Rush hour service will now be every 15 minutes between Brickell Station and SW 8 St / 82 Ave and every 30 minutes on the 8 and 8A branches west of SW 82 Ave to FIU.
      • Midday service will now be every 30 minutes between Brickell Station and SW 82 Ave and every 60 minutes on the branches.

    ROUTE 9

    • Weekday service frequency will be adjusted:
      • Rush hour service will now be every 12 minutes between the Downtown bus terminal and the 167 St bus terminal and every 30 minutes north of the 167 St terminal to and from Aventura bus terminal.
      • Midday service will now be every 30 minutes between Downtown and Aventura.
      • Saturday, the last northbound trip will leave the Downtown bus terminal later at 12:05 a.m.

    ROUTE 11

    • Hourly overnight service, seven days a week, will be reinstated.
    • Weekday service frequency will be adjusted:
      • Rush hour service will now be every 10 minutes between Downtown and SW 72 Ave and every 20 minutes west of SW 72 Avenue to Mall of the Americas and to FIU.
      • Midday service will now be every 20 minutes between Downtown and SW 72 Ave and every 40 minutes to Mall of the Americas and to FIU.
    • The GO Nightly program will be discontinued with the reinstatement of overnight bus service.

    ROUTE 27/27A

    • Hourly overnight service, seven days a week, will be reinstated.
    • Weekday service frequency will be adjusted:
      • Rush hour service will now be every 15 minutes between Coconut Grove Station and NW 27 Ave / 183 St and every 30 minutes on the 27 and 27A branches to NW 207 Street.
      • Midday service will now be every 20 minutes between Coconut Grove Station and NW 27 Ave / 183 St and every 40 minutes on the branches.
    • The GO Nightly program will be discontinued with the reinstatement of overnight bus service.

    Route 95/ Golden Glades Express

    • Service will be restored to the Carol City, Aventura Mall and Doral / Earlington Heights branches.
    • Service frequency between Golden Glades and both Downtown and Civic Center will be increased with trips approximately every five minutes to Downtown and every 10 minutes to Civic Center in the peak of the rush hours

    Metrorail Updates:

      • Metrorail has resumed regular service from 5 A.M. to 12 A.M. daily
      • Passengers heading to the Miami International Airport station will need to transfer to Earlington Heights station to catch the Orange Line train
      • Orange Line train weekday frequency is 10-min peak, 15-min off-peak, & 30-min after 8:30 pm; weekend frequency is 30-min all day.
      • During the morning peak hours on weekdays, Metrorail Green Line trains on the mainline traveling between Dadeland South and Palmetto stations will run every 10 minutes. The off-peak frequency will be every 15 minutes on weekdays

    Metromover Updates:

    • Metromover service hours are 5 A.M. to midnight daily
    • The average frequency will be approximately five minutes all day weekdays in the absence of delays

    SFRTA/Tri-Rail 

    • Tri-Rail has resumed full service. To learn more click HERE

    Commuter Connections:

    Tri-Rail’s Commuter Connector buses are no longer in service. Passengers traveling on these routes can request a complimentary ride for a limited time by one of the following:

    • SFRTA has partnered with various “Ride Partners” to provide complimentary commuter connections to/from select Tri-Rail stations in Broward and Palm Beach Counties within select service areas.

    Broward County Transit (BCT) 

    • Route 11, 36, 40, 55 & 72 Effective: Saturday, December 4, 2021 – Sunday, December 5, 2021, 12 p.m. -10 p.m.

      Due to the Audacy Beach Festival on Fort Lauderdale Beach, there will be heavy traffic traveling A1A along the beach that may cause major delays.

    • Route 28 Effective: Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 9 PM – Wednesday, December 8, 2021, 6 AM

      Hallandale Beach Boulevard in Hallandale Beach will be closed to vehicular traffic due to South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) railway grade crossing rehabilitation.

      The following detour will be in effect:

      • EASTBOUND: Buses traveling east on Hallandale Beach Boulevard will turn north on SW 40th Avenue; north on SW 40th Avenue to Pembroke Road; east on Pembroke Road to I-95; south on I-95 to Hallandale Beach Boulevard; east on Hallandale Beach Boulevard and continue on the regular route.
      • WESTBOUND: Eastbound detour will be reversed.

      If necessary to complete the scheduled work, this closure will extend to Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 6 a.m.

    • Route 34 Effective: Saturday, December 4, 2021 – Sunday, December 5, 2021

      Tri-Rail Pompano Beach Station in Pompano Beach is scheduled for roadway repairs. Buses will not enter the Tri-Rail station, but will service bus stops on NW 33rd Street.

      The following detour will be in effect:

      • WESTBOUND: From westbound on Sample Road, buses will turn south on NW 8th Avenue to NW 33rd Street; west on NW 33rd Street to N Andrews Avenue Extension; north on N Andrews Avenue Extension to Sample Road; west on Sample Road and continue on the regular route.
      • EASTBOUND: Westbound detour will be reversed.

       

    • Route 42 Effective: Thursday, December 2, 2021 – 6 p.m. -8 p.m.

      East Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach will be closed between Federal Highway and N Riverside Drive for the Yuletide On Atlantic parade.

      The following detour will be in effect:

      • EASTBOUND: From eastbound on East Atlantic Boulevard, buses will turn north on Federal Highway to NE 14th Street; east on NE 14th Street to A1A; south on A1A and continue on the regular route.
      • WESTBOUND: From northbound on Hibiscus Avenue, buses will turn east on East Atlantic Boulevard to A1A; north on A1A to NE 14th Street; west on NE 14th Street to Federal Highway; south on Federal Highway to Atlantic Boulevard; west on Atlantic Boulevard and continue on the regular route.

       

    • Route 62 Effective: Saturday, December 4, 2021 – 3:30-7 p.m.

      Kimberly Boulevard in North Lauderdale will be closed between SW 64 Terrace and SW 71 Avenue (Rock Island Road) for the North Lauderdale Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting Ceremony.

      The following detour will be in effect:

      • WESTBOUND: Buses will continue north on US-441 bypassing Kimberly Boulevard to SW 7th Street; east on SW 7th Street to SW 73rd Avenue; south on SW 73rd Avenue to Kimberly Boulevard; west on Kimberly Boulevard over the regular route.
      • EASTBOUND: Westbound detour will be reversed.

    Routes 92

    • Route 92 East – Camino Real between S.W. 3rd Ave & Dixie Highway will experience traffic delays due to construction

    Treasure Coast Connector (St Lucie County) 

    • Treasure Coast Connector is running on a regular Bus Service running on a Weekday Schedule

    • All fixed-route buses are free and additional steps are being taken to make sure drivers and passengers are safe as the area continues to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic

    MARTY (Martin County Transit) 

    • Pay your Fare for MARTY bus routes in Moovit!
    • Currently, users can purchase fares for MARTY bus routes (Martin County Transit) ONLY in the Greater Miami, FL metro in the app.
    • MARTY is continuing to provide essential service by running regular schedules while social distancing recommendations are to be followed by passengers
    • To minimize interaction between patrons and bus operators, MARTY is suspending the sale of onboard bus passes.

    Go Line (Indian River Public Transit) 

    • Regular Bus Service running on a Weekday Schedule for the Go Line
    • GoLine buses operate weekdays from 6:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m.
    • Saturday service is offered from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

    Brightline 

    • Brightline has resumed service
