    National Rail Industrial Action

Strike action is set to impact the rail network on the following date:

    • Saturday 29 July

These strikes will mean little or no services across large areas of the network. In many cases, services will also be disrupted on the day immediately following a strike day.

The ASLEF union have announced action short of a strike affecting some train operators from Monday 31 July to Saturday 5 August. This action involves ASLEF members withdrawing from working overtime during this time.

Passengers are strongly advised to check the status of their rail journey with their operator, both in advance and immediately before travel.
