National Rail Industrial Action to affect services on various dates in July & August
RMT industrial action – Saturday 29 July
Next strike action day is Saturday 29 July.
This is likely to result in little or no services across large areas of the network. Services are also likely to be disrupted and start later on the day immediately following a strike day. Passengers are warned to expect significant disruption and advised to plan ahead and check before they travel.

- Greater Anglia (including Stansted Express)

- London Northwestern Railway
- Northern
- Southeastern
- Southern
- South Western Railway (including Island Line)
- Thameslink
- TransPennine Express
- West Midlands Railway
ASLEF action short of a strike Monday 31 July to Saturday 5 August and Monday 7 to Saturday 12 August
This action involves ASLEF members withdrawing from working overtime during this time.
It is likely that the following train operating companies will be affected and not expecting to be able to run their full timetable. Please check before you travel:
- Chiltern Railways
- Gatwick Express
- Greater Anglia (including Stansted Express)
- Great Western Railway
- Great Northern
- Southern
- South Western Railway (including Island Line)
- Thameslink
- TransPennine Express
The following train operating companies might also be affected. They are currently expecting to be able to run their full timetable although they might experience short notice cancellations. Please check before you travel:
