Public transportation will continue operating after 20:00

Starting Tuesday 5.5.2020, public transportation will continue operating after 20:00.

According to the government’s guidelines, public transportation will return operating after 20:00 during weekdays (Sunday-Wednesday). The current restriction regarding weekends will remain the same and public transportation will not operate between Thursday from 20:00 until Sunday at 17:00.

During the last weeks, public transportation is gradually returning to regular service and many lines which were canceled are returning to service. Schedules of all active lines can be found in the ‘Lines’ tab in Moovit. Israel Railways service is still suspended.

In addition, we highly recommend following the general guidelines regarding the use of public transportation:

  • Passengers are required to wear a mask during all rides
  • Payment will be accepted by ‘Rav Kav’ card only, and charging the card will be available at charging stations. Locations of ‘Rav Kav’ charging stations can be found on the ‘Stations’ tab in Moovit
  • Front rows in buses will continue to be taped off to prevent passengers occupying the seats
  • A maximum of 20 passengers will be allowed in every ride

Please follow the guidelines of the Ministries of Health and Transportation for your own health and safety as well as that of those around you.

Moovit is updated with the latest changes released by the Ministry of Transportation.

Safe travels!
